At the beginning of November of 2009 DIOKI as a large gas consumer took the opportunity provided by the Law on Gas Market and founded Dioplin, a joint-stock company for import and distribution of gas. Dioki spends approximately 50 million mt /y of gas. In the periods so far in which INA had been the only gas importer, every winter, at times of gas crisis DIOKI was forced to reduce or stop the production. By founding its own company for import and gas distribution Dioki not only put an end to single imported gas supplier policy, but also created conditions for entering the new, profitable bussiness - energetics.
