On 2 October 2009, Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, Vice Prime Ministers Damir Polančec and Božidar Pankretić, Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Božidar Kalmeta, and their associates visited DINA-Petrokemija, a member company of the DIOKI Group, Krk Island. During their meeting with the Board, the visiting dignitaries were given a presentation of capital projects aimed at doubling company's production capacities by 2011. An investment of more than €90 million will result in an increase of production capacities from 275 to 615 thousand tonnes of petrochemicals and polymers. The value of the produced goods intended for export will be €400 million a year. Following the presentation, the guests made a tour of production facilities, the port and the site of a future LNG terminal.
