At the 22 International Scientific Meeting of Gas Experts convened in Opatija, 2 - 4 May 2007, round table talks were held on gas as raw material and energy for petrochemical industry. The talks about synergies and other advantages of locating a LNG terminal near DINA Petrokemija's petrochemical facilities at Omišalj were given by Petar Popović, Executive Manager for Terminals and Services of DINA Petrokemija; Igor Čatić, Vice-President of the Society of Plastics and Rubber Engineers; Nenad Gaćeša, Specialist for development and improvement of production processes at DIOKI; and Ivan Širović, Editor of Polimeri, the journal of the Society of Plastics and Rubber Engineers.
